Escheres Patisserie au Beurre Seibu Ikebukuro is a butter-focused pastry shop on the B1F Sweets & Gifts floor of the Seibu Ikebukuro main store, connected directly to the east exit of Ikebukuro Station. The financiers are crisp outside and soft inside, and the madeleines carry both butter and lemon notes. The Seibu Ikebukuro branch's limited Bonne Mère Escheres comes in three types: Nature, Pistache, and Mont Blanc. Soft biscuit is filled with buttercream, but the sponge flavor covers it and the Escheres butter aroma is on the weak side.
