Tempura Shinjuku Tsunahachi Souhonten

Shinjuku Tsunahachi Sohonten is a Japanese restaurant in Shinjuku that fries tempura beside Isetan department store. Shrimp, squid, vegetables and fish are fried one piece at a time in front of the counter, served as Edomae set meals and omakase courses. The restaurant opened in 1924 and has operated for over 100 years. The impression of the food is weaker than on earlier visits.
