Sinwol Banjeom is a Chinese restaurant in Seoul that serves bokkeum bap and jjamppong, located beside the road on the border between Sinwol-dong and Hwagok-dong. The bokkeum bap tops loose, grainy fried rice with japchae that has been kissed by flame, and the jjamppong is a spicy broth containing shrimp and octopus. The place has held its spot since 1987, and its method is to make each bowl to order. Sometimes the taste is off.
