Changdae Haejangguk is a neighborhood restaurant between Seodaemun Station and Yeongcheon Market, at the entrance to Gamsindae, serving ppyeodagwi haejangguk and hwangtae haejangguk. The ppyeodagwi haejangguk is simmered with meat-covered bones and is not heavily salted, making it suitable for breakfast. Around 10 a.m., the elderly owner cooks the soup herself, and the seating suits solo diners and drinkers. The side dishes are disappointing, and the restaurant is not clean.
