Ine no Funaya is a traditional fishing village of about 230 funaya along Ine Bay on the Tango Peninsula in northern Kyoto Prefecture. Each house has a boat berth on the first floor and living quarters on the second, and the village can be seen by boat or by rented bicycle. It takes about one hour by route bus from Amanohashidate, and bicycles can be rented at Hello Cycling and other places. When the wind is strong or it rains, water taxis and the village tour boats stop operating.
