Maruju Sushi Japanese Shokudo is a Japanese restaurant on the 12th floor of Langham Place in Mong Kok, serving sushi, sashimi, udon, and rice bowls. It mills Japanese brown rice in-store twice a day and uses Hokkaido rice for its sushi and rice dishes, with five kinds of sashimi shipped from Toyosu and a sushi set of sea urchin, tuna, and scallop as signature items. A rice mill sits inside the restaurant, and reaching the 12th floor requires riding a series of escalators. At the chef's omakase counter seats, diners can watch the cooking, while corner seats are hard to call staff from for orders.
