Takamatsu no Kamaboko

Takamatsuno Kamaboko is a shop in Fukuoka's Yanagibashi Market that sells handmade fish cakes and oden. It offers more than 30 kinds of fish cakes, including corn fish cake, fish croquette, and mentaiko fish cake, which customers choose themselves. Customers pick fish cakes with a basket and tongs, and the staff fry them again so they are served warm. Some items are heavily seasoned, so first-time customers tend to choose a small amount at a time.
