Tenjin Chikagai Chushajo is a parking building connected directly to the Tenjin underground shopping arcade and malls in Fukuoka, used by drivers parking in the central Tenjin area. After eating or shopping, drivers get a discount parking ticket from participating stores and pay by card at the prepayment machine or the exit gate. After 4 p.m., a maximum charge applies for long parking, and the parking ticket and discount ticket must be inserted in that order. Parking spaces are narrow, so vehicles with a wide body have trouble finding a spot.
